I am a 69-year-old widow with 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

My occupation:   Volunteer for Wings of Hope Cancer Support

Medical history:  Bilateral (double) Mastectomy.  The right had Cancer removed in 1999 and the left no Cancer but I chose to have it removed in 2012.

I particularly love Wednesdays.  It is the day I catch a taxi from my house in Soweto, and I make a 15 minutes trip to the Breast Clinic at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

This is like my Second home almost. As this is where I put my heart and soul into counseling and comforting dozens of Women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer

My hands and heart are open to all who need help and a listening ear, not only to the people at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital but to all.
